Memphis Pixelworkers Unite!

Memphis Finally got a Pixelworkers Tee!

So, recently the cool guys over at Full Stop Interactive who run the ever popular United Pixelworkers announced that they were going to make one final batch of shirts featuring 5 final cities. They opened up the choices to voting and Memphis finally made the cut! Folks in Memphis voted and we came through. The I Love Memphis Blog posted the voting on her site. I even promised everyone in the office a shirt, if they voted for Memphis and if we ended up getting through. Well, it happened. And everyone has an awesome shirt now. To celebrate this victory Kerry and myself, along with support from the local AIGA chapter have organized the best showing of Pixelworkers in any city, ever. If you’re a Memphis Designer, Developer, Photographer, Artist, or just want to come hang out, do it.

We’re meeting around 6pm on Sept 5, at Earnestine & Hazel’s on S. Main. We’ll take a group photo together and hang out afterward. The official Pixelworkers are even sending some pins to giveaway, and as an extra bonus, we’ll have a drawing for a free shirt. I have to give a big shout out to those guys for all the awesome support. Come out and show what a great design community Memphis has. Spread the word! Hope to see you there!

I’ll be sure to post the photos after the event. So check back!
